Handsets and Headphones – Museum of London

The Museum of London is a charity-based organisation dedicated to chronicling the history of London, from the original settlers to the modern city you can enjoy today. Looking at things such as the royal family, the great fire of London and lesser known histories of minority residents. They have locations throughout the city in central London, the Docklands and Hackney.

Our Heavy Duty Handsets and MKI Double Cup Headphones have been used to great effect at their central London museum. Above you can see our Heavy Duty Handsets installed as part of the “War, Plague and Fire” gallery which looks at a time period from the end of the middle ages up to the Great Fire of London. With the AutoPlay feature utilised visitors simply raise the Handset to their ear to activate audio, in this case music from a Virginal (think harpsicord).
