Bespoke Video & Audio Unit – Oasis Cardiff

Bespoke Video & Audio Unit - Oasis Cardiff

We were approached by Oasis Cardiff to make them a bespoke audio and video unit for their touring exhibition, Refugee Wales. The exhibition focused on refugees and asylum seekers who had travelled to Wales and how they are adjusting to life in the country.

Nurses Station Recreation – Mencap Cymru

The Hidden Now Heard exhibition being run by Mencap Cymru details the stories of patients and nurses in six long stay hospitals. The aim of the exhibition is to share and preserve the history of these hospitals which has for the most part sadly been neglected.

Funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, the exhibition aims to get the stories out to the public and help to give new life skills to the refugees and asylum seekers. The exhibition has been a huge success and has become part of the National Museum Wales archives.

We were commissioned to manufacture a Brushed Aluminium Panel for use as part of a recreated nurses station. The station helped immerse visitors by providing a greater sense of the wards layout as it would have been when used. Bringing visitors closer to the stories of the former residents.

U-Turn Round, Minute Man National Park

U-Turn Round - Minute Man Historical Park

Our popular U-Turn Round has made its way over to America for the Minute Man National Historical Park in Massachusetts, with the help of 106 Group. The park focuses on The Battle of Lexington and Concord, which became the opening battle of the American Revolutionary War.

Free-Standing Kiosks, Essex County Council

Free-Standing Kiosks - Essex County Council

Related to last month’s case study, we supplied three free standing kiosks for the You Are Hear project with accompanying software. The project documents and shares various media archives which look into the history and heritage of Essex county. Bringing various personal stories to life.

UTR Audio Box - Minute Man National Historical Park

The U-Turn Round we supplied previously was given some TLC with content updated, giving the interpretation a new lease of life and documenting Mary Hartwell’s recollection of the battle. It has helped the park to provide an engaging experience for visitors at a low maintenance cost.

Free-Standing Kiosk with Lightbox 2 Software at Essex County Council

Our kiosks utilise Lightbox 2 to share multimedia content, with one having a permanent home at the Essex Record Office, and two being used for touring purposes. They’ve been a huge success and have allowed local residents to get to know more about the town’s history.

The Great Stink Crossness Exhibition

The Great Stink – Crossness Pumping Station

Regarded as one of the most incredible examples of modern Victorian engineering, Crossness Pumping Station was opened back in July this year, after restoration work done by the Heritage Lottery Fund. We were approached to create an exhibition documenting “The Great Stink” of 1858 and the impact it had across London.

We supplied standard and bespoke AV products to the exhibition, including Multi-Touch Screens, our VideoClip-HD6, a Multi Touch Table Sleek and a bespoke flushing interactive system. The exhibition’s end result was an informative and visually pleasing way to learn about The Great Stink.
