Multiple pods at Wastesavers

Wastesavers operate recycling services in Newport as well as 10 reuse shops across South East Wales. However, they are more than a recycling company they are also a charity providing support to communities through various services such as affordable or free IT support and educating school children about the circular economy.

Wastesavers aim to educate future generations about recycling from a young age, both how it works and its importance. This is best shown in an array of new interactive recycling exhibits they had commissioned – created and designed by Think Orchard and brought to life using hardware from Blackbox-av.

The video is displayed on our 32″ MediaScreen while audio is played via our double cup armoured cable headphones (with robustness an important consideration for this young visitor demographic). Users are then prompted to answer a series of educational questions relating to the recycling process of each particular material.
