Solar Audio Post Defeats The Elements

May 28, 2013 | News

Bruce Kaiser is a wayside interpretation specialist working for the National Parks Service in West Virginia, United States. Interested in using our Solar Audio Posts and an audio description delivery system for the blind, he requested one to put under extreme testing.  These were his findings (verbatim);
Testing the blackboxav Audio Post
A Solar Audio Post was attached to a wayside exhibit to evaluate an audio description delivery system for the blind. The device was tested in the field for a year and under extreme conditions for an additional 6 months. It has proved to be an extremely robust unit that promises years of service to the visually impaired.

As you can see the Solar Post was really put through its paces, and passed with flying colours. It’s nice to know that our efforts in creating a weather resistant solar powered audio point has paid off.

We look forward to more of our products finding their way across the pond.
