AudioFrame-15, The Maldon Society

The Maldon Society aims to promote and preserve the historical heritage of Maldon and its surrounding area. Part of this includes the development of an oral history Archive, recording memories and stories from local residents.

To share some of these recordings more easily with the public, the society have installed an Audio Frame 15 which presents 15 excerpts from their wide range of library recordings, including some on the embroidery that the Audio Frame 15 sits beside. 

The AF15 is desk mounted and supplies audio through our reliable MKII Double Cup Headphones whilst easily updateable button artwork instructs on its use.

The installation is a culmination of much work by the Society, marking a brilliant end to 2018 with the opening evening seeing plenty of impressed visitors.

The project has been a huge success, with the committee even having the pleasure of introducing the unit to the mayor of Maldon, Jeanette Stilits.
