What is Solar Sound Round?

Solar Sound Round is a solar powered, weather and vandal resistant digital sound store designed for external use. It’s the sister product to the U-Turn Round.

How Does it Work?

Select, Push, Listen…

Visitors can select a message to listen to through the selector dial, which offers up to eight message options and then press the button to hear. During the daytime, the device charges through its solar panels, giving it independence from mains power and so is ideally suited for providing audio solutions in remote locations such as forestry trails, canal towpaths, wildlife sties, play areas and Sites of Special Scientific Interest.

How is it Fitted?

The Solar Sound Round is designed to be fitted to a pole or mounted to a wall. For optimal charging conditions in the northern hemisphere, the unit should be positioned facing south in order to ensure the greatest amount of solar exposure. In the southern hemisphere, the unit should face north.
