Oct 10, 2016 | News

It’s been an incredibly busy month for us with the hiring of new staff and the completion of plenty of projects so let’s get stuck in with some news!

New Staff

First let us introduce Holly (that’s her above) who’s on board as part of the marketing team. So you can expect lots of posts and videos coming your way soon especially if you follow us on social media… Speaking of which you can now follow us on Instagram for behind the scenes photos of the work we do and what we get up to in the office.

Holly has been busy at work in her first week putting together a few product videos – check out the first two below and expect many more to come!

Product Demos

Video Clip HD8

Check out the feature packed VideoClip-HD8. Our very own HD video player capable of looping, button and PIR activation, you won’t find a more versatile and cost effective solution on the market.

TouchTable Sleek

Have a look at our Multi-Touch Table Sleek – surprisingly affordable our Touch Table range when combined with our customisable heritage software is the perfect platform for engaging visitors at a modern heritage site.

Recent Projects AudioBench – Essex County Council

Our audio benches were the stars of the ‘You Are Hear: A Sound of Sense and Place’ project recently launched by Essex County Council. Funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, the project centres around the history of Essex through community stories, recordings of which are now accessible via the audio benches.

There are now eight benches installed across the county, and two benches on tour until next year. They’ve been a huge success with the public and are a fun, inventive way to learn about the history of some of Essex’s most prominent towns.

Smaller Projects

U-Turn Round – Wudinna District Council

Our popular outdoor audio point is now featured at Wudinna District Council in Australia.  The U-Turn Round was made to share information on the famous ‘Australian Farmer’ sculpture.

We supplied a U Turn Round to Armsign, who decorated it with a custom paint job. The post was installed just in time for the county’s centenary celebrations last month.

22″ Kiosk, National Waterways Museum

We also supplied two 22″ free standing kiosks and software to the National Waterways Museum for their temporary exhibitions. The kiosks use Lightbox 2 & Touch Puzzle to help engage visitors.

So far the kiosks have already been used in two temporary exhibitions with the software a big hit with visitors young and old, providing a fresh perspective on the history of the museum.

Wayfinder Interactive – Cardiff University

We were commissioned by Cardiff University to develop an interactive wayfinder unit to help visitors navigate the vast Glamorgan Building.

We supplied both the 42″ Touchscreen unit and wayfinding software, utilising a web based platform in order to allow easy updates by staff in future – as well as keep costs manageable. The completed unit now sits in the main lobby and is proving very useful for visitors.
