Nant Llech Audio Trail 2011
The Nant Llech Trail is popular with walkers trekking to Henrhyd Falls Henrhyd (the highest waterfall in the national park, measuring 90ft 27.4m) The walk has recently seen some vast improvements including new steps, path widening and the introduction of four blackbox-av trailbox messengers.
The audio trail named Falls, Fossils, Forests and Fleeces features audio recordings providing information on the area and what makes it unique. Audio voice over was supplied by Eleri Thomas the Education Officer of the National Park, Alan Bowring the development officer, Ray Woods a botanist along with some local volunteer members of the public. The aim is to encorage the public to learn more about this area’s rich landscape and cultural heritage.
The trailbox messenger is a battery powered audio playback unit which has now now been developed into a solar powered version called the Audio Solar Post.
