Single Cup Headphones – Roskilde Museum

40 Single Cup Headphones now call Roskilde Museum in Denmark home. A new exhibition, Roskilde Magt on Mennesker which documents the history of the town and how it has changed and developed over the years, has just been unveiled. Light, sound and space are key parts of the narrative as visitors experience the city’s history and how it was ruled with riches and strong faiths.

The audio installation was overseen by Stouenborg, who came to us for our Single Cup Headphones, stainless steel selection buttons and SoundClip-2 Audio Player. The headphones utilise a unique magnetic hanger which keeps them stored nicely while not in use. For this installation our headphones are used in conjunction with our SoundClip and each configured with two buttons each, where visitors can choose between Danish or English content to listen to. The 90° swivel knuckle was also supplied alongside the headphones, this creates a secure connection point for the cable and and prevents fracture.

The museum’s new exhibition has allowed the Roskilde Museum to shed light on their history and preserve it for future generations through digital means.
