Founded in 1994, blackbox-av specialises in providing audio visual interpretation products and solutions to the museum, heritage, attractions and retail industries.

What We Do

Our service is broken down into 4 main areas:

1. Products

• We supply projectors, screens, LCD and plasma monitors, touch screens, kiosks, sound stores, listening points and much, much more.
• What sets blackbox-av apart from other companies, is that we also design and manufacture our own unique range of innovative products, such as the U-Turn Round and Message in a Speaker. Having an in-house R&D team also gives us the capability to take your audio visual concept and see it through from idea, to reality. See our bespoke builds.

2. Installations

We are experts in providing advice for, as well as installing, solutions for clients who are creating or redesigning a small to medium gallery or exhibition, working seamlessly with design teams when required and the curatorial staff.

3. Projects

A project is a large refurbishment or new build. As part of the contracted team, blackbox-av works alongside the design and fitout team to provide a comprehensive, interpretive solution, bringing the vision of the client to reality.

4. Media

With our in-house media facilities, including an audio and film studio and multimedia suite, blackbox-av can work with your existing material or produce content from scratch, providing you with high quality audio and video pre-loaded or ready to load onto your product. See our media show real.
